Mokapak of Gattinara produces pods for Lavazza espresso machines. The pods are used to make coffee with the Lavazza "Espresso Point" system, now widely used in the home, in offices and also on trains, etc. The two-dose pods are inserted in a second flow-pack type packaging and the variable data are printed on this film using Eidos model SWING 53cx coding equipment, able to cater to this requirement, working flawlessly with the packaging machines on which they are installed. Right from the word go, the SWING demonstrated their unfailing efficiency and ability to measure up to the company's needs. As for all SWING machines, the clean system which allows operators to work without the use of solvents, safeguarding the environment and also without risks for the product was highly appreciated. A highly satisfactory result for all concerned that stresses the effectiveness of EIDOS production machines, already employed by Lavazza for on-line labeling.
